Using the on-line Directory

Our on-line directory is a facility open to any internet-user and is designed to help you find a Creative Practitioner working in Cumbria who may be able to assist you with a project.

Practitioners are asked to submit an applicaiton to us, providing details of 2 references, CRB issued within the last 2 years and current Public Liability insurance.  We then invite applicants to meet us for a short, informal chat where we aim to find out more about the work they do and to inform them of the sorts of work we do.

We do not necessarily work directly with the practitioners listed and cannot verify their suitablity for the work you wish them to undertake.  We woud encourage you to contact the referees directly if you wish to find out more about the work they have done in the past.

You can use the on-line directory by selecting the art form, age group and district they will work in.  You can use any combination of critieria you want - eg if you want to find a Craft and Design practitioner who has worked with key stage 3 who is prepared to work in Eden, you would simply click on each of the categories.  You can also just search for practitioners willing to work in Eden only.

If you have selected an item and you have changed your mind, simply hold down the Ctrl key and click on the item again to deselect it.
