Creative practitioners who are or have been involved the CAE Mentoring Programme can apply for a bursary to further their skills and experience in relation to their creative work with young people.

Creative Practitioner Mentoring Programme 2008-9
Working as a creative practitioner in schools or other environments with young people requires specific knowledge, skills and expertise.

To support creative practitioners, Cumbria Arts provides opportunities for artists to learn from each other to develop their creative practice with young people. Following an action research pilot programme in 2004/5, Cumbria Arts is continuing the artist mentoring scheme from Autumn 2008.
