Welcome to our directory of artists and arts organisations with skills and experience of working with young people.

All artists registered have proven experience of working with young people and have supplied references for recent projects. Below you can search for an artist by their chosen art form(s).

However, it is by no means comprehensive and the inclusion of an individual or organisation on this site does not represent any endorsement or recommendation by CAE.

Cumbria Arts in Education strongly recommends that all artists working with young people have an Enhanced CRB Disclosure that is no more than two years old. It is the school or organisation's responsibility to determine the suitability of artists for their project and to make the appropriate checks and references should always be undertaken. Organisations should follow their own Child and Vulnerable Adults Protection Policies when employing an artist from this directory or from any other source. Read our Safeguarding policy (PDF).
